I would like to improve my vegetable garden records.
Do you use a book and/or computer? What do you find most useful to record? How do you organize them?
I use spreadsheets and drawings. I keep the documents in the cloud so I can use my phone when I’m outside and my computer indoors. I wrote a bit about my approach here:
We’ve been using the Lee Valley 10 Year Gardeners Journal, and have found it an invaluable tool. there is space to record garden highlights for each day and so you can look back for any given day for the past ten years. There are also sections to plot garden layouts, purchases, planting records and harvesting records.
