The 2024 Salt Spring Island Apple Festival will take place on September 29, 2024 from 9 to 5. Tickets will be available outside the Fulford Hall and outside the Ganges Info Centre from 9 to 3.
Adults $10, Students $5, Kids FREE. There will be lots of activities, including:
A display of Salt Spring grown apples will take up the centre of the hall. They hope to have over 400 varieties displayed in alphabetic order.
About 20 vendors of Salt Spring Island treasures will fill the perimeter of the hall, including the very popular Pie Ladies who will once again be selling apple pies, each with a label advising of the apple variety used—a great way to do baking apple research.
15 Host Farms or locations will be open for apple lovers from 9 to 5 PM. Use the Program to plan a self guided tour of venues.
Enjoy cider from 2 great Salt Spring Cideries: Ciderworks and Salt Spring Wild Cider.
Apple Luscious Organic Orchard’s 32 foot tasting table will feature 80 varieties of its best apples —all for tasting. Find the apples that you love.
And there will be free face painting!
