If you are interested in learning more about Rain Gardens, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently released a guide to installing and maintaining rain gardens in Western Washington (most principles are easily transferable to our environment). The guide was originally published in 2007 and again in 2013. New information and lessons learned have been incorporated into this very comprehensive 2024 edition.
