Organic fertilizers

I would like to use organic fertilizers on my garden, especially on my producing cherry and apple trees, blueberries, raspberries and tomatoes. My soil is low in organic matter and doesn’t retain moisture. What products should I use and where can I buy them? Thanks!

You can make your own organic fertilizer. Google Steve Solomon’s Organic Fertilizer and you will find the recipe. All ingredients are available at Top Shelf Feeds in Courtenay. I have found it to be a very good plant food even if your soil isn’t rich. You will have to add your own organic matter apart from this fertilizer…like sea compost or composted animal manure.
