New CVHS Workshop Offering: Pruning Shrubs and Trees in the Home Garden – with Debora Gurrad

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 2025

Pruning is an essential part of plant care for reasons of safety, plant health, design and aesthetics. Learn and practice the correct way to prune your own shrubs and small trees from one of Vancouver Island’s Master Gardeners.

A gentle reminder, we will be working in close proximity; please respect others by staying home if you are not feeling well.

Cost: $20 members or $30 non-members

Time: Morning session: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm (10 people), Afternoon session: 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm (10 people)

Location: Merville & Courtenay (TBA to registrants closer to the date)

The Comox Valley Horticulture Society (CVHS) brings this workshop to you. Participation in this workshop is voluntary. Volunteer presenters offer these programs. CVHS appreciates their time and experience in the subject areas that they present, however, CVHS accepts no liability for the information that is presented.

Due to the challenging weather lately, our “Pruning Shrubs and Trees in the Home Garden” workshop has been rescheduled to Saturday March 1. And, unfortunately, it appears that the inclement weather may strike again and the workshop will be pushed forward to the next alternate date of Sunday, March 9. Currently, the workshops are full but that may change if we need to reschedule again. Our workshop team are juggling participants as the days go by! If you are interested in attending this workshop, we have provided the ability to sign up on a waitlist, in case current participants are unable to attend.
