Mulberry trees in Comox?

Has anyone grown Mulberries in Comox? I want to try.

I saw a healthy specimen in a backyard facing the golf course a few years ago while touring Lily Vanderhorst’s open garden. It was in her neighbour’s yard.

I’m pretty sure there is a Mulberry tree at Filberg Park between the Dairy Barn and the Pergola.
