We built our new house a couple years ago in Courtenay and had left over yellow cedar siding. This year, I used these boards to make planter boxes and filled them with hardy succulents mostly sempervivum and sedum. This is just one of them.

Sweet! Are those succulents quite large? It’s hard to tell without something for scale. Love the colour combination.
Thank you Kim! The box is approximately 4’’ x 12’’ and the largest succulent in the middle is a good 6’’ across.
