This is only the third growing season for Wendy and Mike’s .9-acre garden, making it incredible to think how much care, attention, and effort went into achieving this level of beauty so quickly. Over the past few years, they have enthusiastically replaced turf with a fruit and vegetable garden, a morning garden, xeriscape and deer-‘tolerant’ beds, lots of hedging, and a shade garden. They also designed a stunning, meandering path through perennial plantings that offers a truly immersive experience, complete with borrowed views of mature surrounding trees and beautifully preserved inherited specimens. Wendy even colour-coordinated the blooms to flow in a striking ombre pattern.
