This is just one of the Oceanspray that we were blessed with on this property when we bought it. Also known as Creambush, Creambush Rock Spirea or Ironwood. Both Oceanspray and Creambush refer to its cascading, creamy-white flower clusters. It is called Ironwood due to the strength of its wood. Grows in shade.

And, if I’m not mistaken, Oceanspray is a native plant to the west-coast. There’s a lot of them on the gulf islands lining the roads. Gorgeous when they are all in bloom!

yup all over Merville too. We have a few wild mature ones on our place.
