Finnerty Gardens, University of Victoria

If you haven’t visited Finnerty Gardens at the University of Victoria, I would urge you to do so. They are botanical gardens free to visit, on the UVic grounds. It’s a real treasure filled with over 200 mature rhodos and azaleas, ground covers, magnolias and more. There is even a stand of scaffolding-sized bamboo. When I was there, not far from the Interfaith Chapel, a couple of people were adding some magic to the gardens by singing traditional Chinese music. What a treat it was!
