Fabric (Quilting) Sale

My friend was an extra-ordinary talented and prolific applique quilter. Recently deceased, she left behind her studio with a large stash of quality fabrics, batting, fleece, flannel, notions, sewing machines, desks, cutting tables, shelving and just about anything and everything a quilter could possibly want or need! It’s a quilters dream!

As snowbirds they travelled extensively over the past 17 years and she probably visited every quilt shop and fabric warehouse over half of North America. She left behind hundreds of yards and metres of quality quilting fabrics – for an average of $10/yard or metre. Sorry, bundles only - no measured cutting.

931 Thorpe Ave, Courtenay
Saturday 16 July 9:00am -3:00pm
Downstairs on the left of garage, turn right, second door on the right – follow the signs!

Hi there,
If you have any fabrics left after your sale, please consider donating them to the Merville Grand Mothers. They are one of many grandmother groups across the country raising funds for the Stephen Lewis Foundation. The project has been supporting sub-Saharan African grandmothers who are raising the next generation and holding their communities together following and during the tough times of HIV-AIDS and COVID. The fabrics can be dropped off at the Potter’s Place in Courtenay. All the best with the liquidation sale.
