This Summer we are launching a new event that was suggested by you, our members! Participants will start at Lake Trail Community School, where parking is available to off-load your bike. Members of the Comox Valley Cycling Coalition will be on hand to provide advice on cycling in the Comox Valley.
Participants can follow a self guided trail or go with a leader to explore the gardens by bike. The route covers 11km with a total change in elevation of 70 meters.
We have two community gardens on the route (volunteers from the organizations will be on hand to provide information about the gardens)
There are also six, interesting private gardens that demonstrate the contrasting ways homeowners approach gardening in downtown Courtenay.
We ask that you sign up in advance, complete the waiver , and make a donation that will be divided between: Lush Valley “Share the Harvest”, Lake Trail Community Education Society, and Comox Valley Horticultural Society.

The Comox Valley Cycling Coalition will provide a free Comox Valley Cycling Map to all participants to help you explore our area in your future adventures on your bike.
