Cover my rhodos for this cold snap?

Do I need to…or should I…cover my rhodos for this cold snap? I doubt they were ever covered before by the previous owner’s. I did cover the roses that I planted in the fall. I used heavy reemay cloth (it is what I currently have on hand).

I wouldn’t cover rhodos or roses for this cold snap. They are both quite hardy. I even have a couple of evergreen azaleas that I don’t cover. Many cultivated rhododendrons are originally from the mountains of Asia and can withstand quite a lot of cold.

If you notice, as the weather gets colder, the Rhodo leaves droop more and more. Their way of battling the cold. We do not cover our rhoda’s, and have never lost one due to the cold.
