I am nominating Tom Knudsen Camellia(Camellia Japonica) which was a Valentine’s gift from my husband 25 years ago so it is a very special shrub in my garden. It never fails to bloom profusely growing on the north side wall from March to April.It started as a 2’ and now is over 8’. I prune to keep just below the gutters and to allow access to my side garden but she just wants to keep growing.
