Aash-e Shooli (Lentil and Beet Soup) Recipe

Persimmons, well as I have never had a persimmon I will take a wild guess based on what I just read about them. The usual would be pies, cakes and cookies or even in your Sunday morning pancakes! I would try drying them so you have a nice snack throughout the winter, much like dried apples. To get really fancy I might even try a gooey dessert wrapped in phyllo, or prepare them like baked apples with a crumble topping. Yumm!
