We are in the process of putting in a new flower bed…previously lawn. Have found the soil very sandy, wonder what we can add/mix with the soil to make it more flower friendly. We do not have any home made mulch to add.
We have sandy soil and mixed compost in the first year and put another in on after planting. Second year we put another in of compost on. It worked very well for us.
